ABOUT LIZ

I'm Liz Fleming The Efficiency Coach, essentially, I am a business mentor, grants coach and accountant who knows a thing or two about creating efficiencies and helping businesses to grow and expand.

I am obsessed with creating ways for business to operate in an optimal state, to achieve their growth strategy plans and hold them accountable to keep them on track with their goals.

You know how there are never enough hours in the day. There's always so much to do and you don’t know where to start?

Well, what I do is show you how to maximise your time and discover who's best to do what in your business.

My promise is more profit, more time and more fulfilment.

WHY DID I START MY BIZ?

Being a Chartered Accountant with a corporate finance career in the energy sector, I always knew I wanted to work for myself sometime in the future. I never dreamed that would mean creating a brand and a business (my idea of working for myself was a few short-term contracts with holidays in between). I love what I do!

The main reason why I started my business was to challenge myself to use my knowledge, experience and skills acquired in corporate and apply these to small businesses to make an impact! I have a variety of clients that I love working with, whether it be in the Grants Club VIP Membership, finding grants, writing grant applications, business mentoring programs or coaching xero and finance.

I LOVE the flexibility, joy and variety that my business brings me!

WHO I LOVE TO WORK WITH

My ideal client is a small business who is in a growth stage, with a growth mindset, ready to do the hard work, get out of their comfort zone and achieve their goals!

I work with clients to brainstorm, strategise and develop their growth plan together.

We all know that every business is different, so there's no cookie cutters here, I custom design a program for each of my clients to maximise the impact to their business.

I work with clients all over Australia and would love to work with you to help you grow your business and give you back hours in your day for more enjoyable things in life.

I'M A KIWI, LIVING IN MELBOURNE

I've been in Aussie for 6 years, moving here to work at a coal mine in Regional Victoria on a 12-month contract, and I'm still here! I now split my time between Melbourne and Gippsland and have the best of both worlds.

I'm originally from rural NZ, about 90 minutes north of Christchurch, studying commerce and starting my professional career at KPMG. I've worked in London and travelled extensively around the world!

MY INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF MY BIZ

I love what I do, so most days it doesn't feel like work! But when I'm trying to switch off from biz work, I listen to podcasts, binge watch Netflix, hit the gym, go bushwalking, travelling to a new place (I've been to 34 countries so far), go to the beach and make sure I look after my indoor plants!

I love learning and keeping my brain active, I'm currently studying for my Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) Exam which started out as a passion project, and turned into a Masters in Forensic Accounting and even working at BP Australia being the Project Lead on their fraud management project for their Loyalty Program.
